Two years ago Diane Mayer founded B2B Web Marketing Solutions, which
specializes in helping aggressive companies utilize the powerful
medium of internet conferencing to generate qualified leads and
achieve corporate marketing and sales objectives.
Prior to forming her own company, Ms. Mayer was the Director of
Business Development for Saligent, Inc., a provider of prospect
development and lead management services for companies selling complex,
big-ticket business products. She also represented Techmar Communications
and Inquiry Handling Service. During her 20+ years in marketing,
Ms. Mayer has been instrumental in helping over 60 companies implement
telemarketing strategies, prospect seminars, channel development
programs and lead management programs to open and expand target
markets. Diane is a frequent speaker at industry conferences such
as the Business Marketing Association Direct Marketing to Business
and the Direct Marketing Association.
Shawn Gold,
Chief Strategy Officer: eUniverse
Shawn is responsible for overseeing and driving eUniverse's business
strategy. A pioneer in the industry, Shawn joined eUniverse with
a 9-year background in interactive marketing and business strategy.
Prior to eUniverse, Shawn served as vice president of marketing
and communications for ecommerce company WHN. There he developed
ecommerce programs for The 2002 Olympics, ABC, NBC, MTV and Fox.
Prior to WHN, He spent two years at Rare Medium where he served
as head of strategic planning. He was responsible inaugural interactive
strategy for P&G, General Mills, Nestle and Mattel. In 1995,
Shawn was the GM of Icon New Media's advertising/sponsorship Division.
Shawn began his interactive career in 1992 as a founding partner
of TouchTunes Interactive, a telecommunications music marketing
service in the USA, Japan and New Zealand.
Phil Becker
- Managing Partner: The Venture Group For the past four years Phil has been an independent software
marketing consultant, helping firms build and implement product
and marketing plans and launch new products.
Previously, he spent more than twenty years in marketing management
positions with firms ranging from well-established Fortune 500 corporations
such as IBM, Xerox and Citicorp, to very small, pre-IPO companies.
Mr. Becker has broad expertise in defining and coordinating the
development of new products, creating and successfully executing
marketing plans, and working with sales teams to negotiate and close
contracts with major customers.
Mr. Becker has a BSE in Aeronautical Engineering from Princeton
University, an MBA from the University of Southern California and
has completed the CPA preparatory program at UCLA.
