INTRODUCTION

Thank you for your interest in the Software Council of Southern California's Corporate
Sponsorship Program for 2002.

The Software Council decided to redefine the Corporate Sponsorship Program this year, to
help its members and others take advantage of the many new marketing opportunities that
have opened up because of our explosive growth and presence across the region.

If global, regional or market branding is what your company is looking for, the Software
Council is positioned to deliver this to you and more.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Software Council has asked our current sponsors, to help us develop a program that will
meet your company's specific marketing objectives. As the sponsors talked, we listened!

Those common objectives were:

  • Marketing $ Value
  • Regional Leadership

    • The Software Council's new program has been designed to give you the maximum exposure
    with no exclusives. Your level of sponsorship directly reflects the level of your exposure. The
    more your company sponsors in the Council, the more marketing visibility your organization
    receives…it is that simple!

    To give your company the individual spotlight, events have become Corporate Sponsor
    Benefits. Your company can select up to fifty percent of the meetings in any given series of
    chapter or special interest group events to showcase your company. Your company will be
    known as a Corporate Presenting Sponsor on all events that you select. There will be a
    maximum of four corporate Presenting Sponsors at any chapter event and two per SIG event.

    In addition, Corporate Sponsors will receive recognition at all of our Software Council events
    throughout the year…not only the events that you select, but additional 90-100+ events that
    are currently on the 2001 calendar.
