Information Technology Outlook
CIO Panel

November 6, 2003

Babak Aghevli, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Candle Corporation
Janet Parr, Executive Vice President, IT Services, Countrywide
Fred Held, Partner, Tatum Partners

Moderated by Tony Karrer, CEO, TechEmpower

At a recent event, we were joined by Karen Nocket, Chief Architect of Toyota. What she had to say about where they are and where they were going was eye-opening. Everyone wanted more. Well we have more - a lot more!

We are proud to have assembled a very distinguished panel of CIOs who will discuss where they are today and where they are going on important topics such as:

  • Their top three projects over the next two years
  • Business outlook, budgets and spending
  • Outsourcing and off-shore development
  • Web services and XML standards
  • Business intelligence
  • Open source
  • Mobile computing

It is rare to have an opportunity to hear directly from CIOs of major southland corporations. Because of that, both AITP and SCSC will hold their first ever joint meeting. We hope you will join us for this special event.
