Software Executive's Roundtable
Los Angeles

May 5, 2005

Competitive Intelligence
Guest Speaker: Carlos Caballeros,
CEO, ClearVU

With more than twenty years of progressive technology, marketing and management exposure, and strong specialization in Application and Product Lifecycle Management, Carlos Caballero serves as a senior strategic execution resource for B2B software companies. Caballero advises several start-ups and their Board members on product strategy and strategic marketing. He also serves as a special liaison and research consultant related to mergers and acquisitions, industry initiatives and partnerships. Previously, Caballero founded two companies: Digital Graffiti - a marketing communications consultancy firm for emerging software vendors - and Qualitive - a software vendor specializing in Competitive Intelligence Management software. He has also worked in a number of global marketing, product management and Senior Executive roles at Starbase Corporation, Quest Software, NewWorldIQ and Softool Corporation. Fluent in three languages, Caballero earned his MS and teaching credentials in physics and applied mathematics from UNCPBA in Argentina. The Software Executive Roundtable is a moderated forum where executives of Southern California software companies meet and discuss in an open and collaborative environment key issues that directly affect the success of their ventures. The Roundtable shuns panels, talking heads and sales pitches; it is a solid 90 minutes of peer-to-peer information exchange and debate. The moderator for each session is a well-known and knowledgeable pundit, investor or luminary in Southern California's software industry.

Attendance Guidelines:
While the Roundtable is designed for the sole benefit of executives of software companies, service providers may attend if they are joined by a guest who is a software company executive. Non-members are welcome to attend, one-time at the non-member rate.
