Carlos Caballero, CEO, ClearVU
With more than twenty years of progressive technology, marketing and management exposure, and strong specialization in Application and Product Lifecycle Management, Carlos Caballero serves as a senior strategic execution resource for B2B software companies. Caballero advises several start-ups and their Board members on product strategy and strategic marketing. He also serves as a special liaison and research consultant related to mergers and acquisitions, industry initiatives and partnerships. Previously, Caballero founded two companies: Digital Graffiti - a marketing communications consultancy firm for emerging software vendors - and Qualitive - a software vendor specializing in Competitive Intelligence Management software. He has also worked in a number of global marketing, product management and Senior Executive roles at Starbase Corporation, Quest Software, NewWorldIQ and Softool Corporation. Fluent in three languages, Caballero earned his MS and teaching credentials in physics and applied mathematics from UNCPBA in Argentina.

Martin Milani, President & CEO, Chief Technology Officer, Intersperse
Mr. Milani is an industry expert on distributed computing. Most recently he was CTO of iBuilding, a Web services process-flow management and orchestration company where he led the design, application development, product management, support, and consulting teams. Under his leadership, iBuilding was named by CIO magazine as providing one of the 100 most innovative products of 2001.

Previously Mr. Milani was at the Times Mirror Corporation where he held the position of Chief Internet Technologist and Strategist as well as Chief Enterprise Architect for Times Mirror and Los Angeles Times. In those roles he was responsible for technology decision making such as Enterprise Application Integration, distributed and web-based applications development, shared services, consolidation of data centers, wide area networks, systems and network management, security and web enabling of legacy systems. Before joining Times Mirror, Milani held senior level technology, consulting and distributed system architect positions at Wells Fargo Bank, IBM, Retix and Locus computing.

Milani's area of expertise include: Operating Systems, massive parallel systems, distributed operating systems and kernels, Enterprise Application Integration, systems and network management, directory services, asynchronous messaging systems and communications systems. Mr. Milani obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics from University of Pittsburgh.

J. Patrick Ravenel - Sr. Vice President, Engineering and Operations, Preventsys
For over 15 years, Patrick has been noted as a top designer of enterprise software and author of several distributed computing standards. As Sr. Vice President of Engineering and Operations, Patrick manages the technical direction of Preventsys products and services and is responsible for driving technology initiatives.

Prior to joining Preventsys, Patrick was Founder and CTO of Essential Compliance, Inc., a high tech consulting firm that catered to the needs of venture capital firms in the areas of due-diligence, technical improvement of portfolio companies, and the planning and implementation of transactional enterprise software. He has deployed some of the largest high-volume, secure EDI and XML-based transaction systems in the financial and healthcare markets. Patrick also served as VP of Engineering for MedUnite, Inc. where he developed a system capable of managing millions of real-time, HIPAA compliant transactions. Patrick also led the designed team for Persistence Software's flagship Enterprise Java product, and is the editor and co-author of the CORBA Persistent State Service specification for the Object Management Group (OMG).

Robert Smith, Senior Director of Engineering for Symantec
As a Sr. Director, Engineering at Symantec Corporation, Robert Smith is responsible for developing enterprise wireless, client, host and server based corporate security products and identifying new corporate opportunities for securing corporate end-points. His team's flagship product, Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (SAVCE), holds the number one market share position. SAVCE has won numerous awards and is available globally in nineteen languages. Over the past six years at Symantec he also led the team that launched the Digital Immune System (DIS), he co-invented Symantec Enterprise Security Architecture (SESA) and led the SESA team through the introduction of the first release. He ran development for LiveUpdate and other core technology projects.

Before Symantec, Smith held executive positions in software development, product management, sales and marketing at Conner Peripherals, ELMS - a VC funded startup, Yaskawa Electric America, Gateway Computer and Quadratron - an enterprise focused Unix office automation software company. Mr. Smith holds a patent for one of his software designs and has another patent pending.

Smith serves on the Board of Directors of Cla-Val Corporation, a privately held multinational company dedicated to producing the world's highest quality automatic control valves. He also serves on the board of a non-profit homeowner's association as Treasurer.

He has been active in the computer industry for more than 22 years. Mr. Smith graduated with honors with a Bachelors degree in accounting and finance from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Smith holds a current CISSP credential.

Jeff Wade, Director Product Marketing for FileNet Corporation
Jeff Wade joined FileNet in 1988 and has held a variety of positions in Product Marketing and Product Management. FileNet has grown tenfold during that time and Jeff has participated and influenced the evolution of its products, marketing staff and processes throughout this period of growth.

Jeff is currently responsible for leading and executing the company's Product Lifecycle Initiative (PLI). PLI is focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of FileNet's product lifecycle and portfolio management process from product concept to withdrawal.

Previously, Jeff has defined and implemented new programs for strategic alliances and technology ISVs; managed teams directing new product development, program marketing, and pricing and licensing operations; and has been a key participant in the definition and launch of three major generations of products.

Jeff obtained his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
