Valuing Software Companies - a buyer and seller perspective

September 30, 2004

Valuing a software company is as much art as it is science, yet critically important for correctly negotiating many business transactions.

As a technology leader can you answer YES to these six questions?

1. Do you know how to make your company look good to potential buyers?

2. Do you know what to look for in a potential acquisition target?

3. Do you know how to identify potential buyers?

4. Do you know what buyers are looking for now?

5. Do you know when is the right time in the company life cycle to acquire or be acquired?

6. Do you know how the mergers and acquisitions process works today?

If you said no to any of the above, register today for the upcoming Software SIG - Valuing Software Companies breakfast meeting being held Thursday, September 30, 2004.

This event will feature a panel of experts and software executives, (see speaker bios below), who will explain what is currently happening in the marketplace, how to understand your company's value drivers as well as a potential buyer's perspective and help you understand what drives a deal in today's market. The goal is to give you an overview of the rationale and tools you'll need to estimate your company's value in the current environment.
