"Key Legislative Issues for Technology Companies"

The Orange County Chapter's of the Software Council of Southern California and AeA are proud to co-host event.


The official "Rules of the Game", as determined by our lawmakers in Washington and Sacramento, are constantly in a state of flux. What do you need to know today to stay on top of current legislation and how it can affect your business?

SCSC Orange County Chapter, in collaboration with the AEA of Orange County, presents a program surveying the latest changes in key legislative issues for Technology Companies. In doing so, we hope to provide a snapshot of the latest edicts that you need to be aware of.

You need to know about recent laws that can affect your Board of Directors and Audit Committee. New legislation is in the works that can affect 401K Pension conformity for you and your employees. There are bills recently passed and pending that address protective orders and privacy topics.

Additionally, lawmakers strive to intiate economic stimulus. Issues such as Research & Development tax credits, as well as new tax regulations, can affect your company's bottom line. You need to know what the latest changes are.

This program will be moderated by an expert from the AEA with broad knowledge of the current state of play the new rules being determined by the relevant legislative bodies.

Our panel will include leading experts from local legal and accounting firms with first hand experience in these topics.
