Overview
What:
The 2002 Software Industry Awards are brought to you by the Software Council
of Southern California with generous contributions from KPMG LLP, O'Melveny
& Meyers LLP, Silicon Valley Bank, neoBrands, socalTECH.com and Bowne.
Why:
The Software Industry Awards, now in its eighth year of existence, recognize
those who have made outstanding contributions to the industry. The awards
function as a measure of the continuing growth and influence of the software
industry in Southern California, which represents more than 8,000 companies
and the tens of thousands of talented employees powering their success.
The 2002 Software Industry
Awards will present:
- Software CEO of the Year
- Software Entrepreneur of
the Year
- Software Developer of the
Year and
- Interactive Content Company
of the Year
Who:
The 2002 Software Industry Awards will attract more than 300 attendees
comprised primarily of senior executives from the software, Internet,
entertainment and support industries within Southern California.
In addition, past events have
attracted influential members of the media including representatives from
the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, Wall Street Journal,
Software Magazine, New Media Magazine, InfoWorld, Byte, Net Guide, Computer
Currents and Microtimes among others.
